The University of Alabama softball team, fresh off winning the 2012 national championship, has the nation’s top-ranked prospect and four of the top 50 prospected as ranked by ESPN joining the program as freshmen for next season.

Alabama signee Andrea Hawkins, an outfielder from Bay City, Texas, is ranked as the nation’s No. 1 prospect in the ESPN 100 rankings, which were released this week.

Good article. Thanks for posting.

It looks like another good recruiting class. CPM has us in position to compete for championships every year.

A couple of things stood out in the arcticle besides the excellant stats:
1. CNS meeting with the girl from Texas and helping CPM recruit her. I have heard Sarah Patterson say CNS helps all the other coaches any way he can. I think that is great.
2. Kayla Braud texting all the incoming freshmen to tell them they need to be working hard this summer and they need to show up ready to play. That is leadership.
