The Atlanta father of two Auburn University students is using social media to get justice for his children who he said they were racially harassed and one was sent to jail by two members of the Auburn football team.

Henry M. Carter, of Atlanta, says his daughter Shanice Carter, 20, and his son Kenya Carter, 22, were called N-word and his daughter was called a "bitch" by two members of the Auburn University football team, while at a McDonalds in Auburn on early Saturday morning....

Reese Dismukes and Patrick Miller were the players accused.

Cue the Fulmer Cup (AGAIN).   :popcorn2:

Maybe, unless it was in the parking lot.
Imagine if one of the players stole some French fries from them, cut in line to make an order, spilled a drink on them (or the reverse), or stole their parking space.  It was McDonald's; couldn't be much more heinous than that.

Maybe the black kids said Coach Chiznik reminded them of Ronald McDonald.

Well this is sad that students even if they are going to Auburn U. for education can't learn anymore that one "N" word. I see how Auburn gets their recruits now you only have to learn one word. RTR!

Aubrun is an Aggie school.  Traditionally it was filled with rednecks.  Just a few years ago they were notified by the feds that their % of minorities was the lowest of the SEC, and almost all of them were athletes.

The "new" Aubrun with minority students parading around in the AU gear is almost a joke.  So, this story doesn't surprise me, but it should receive attention.  That word is hateful, hurtful, and inappropriate (legally wrong or not).  I hope they fry for this.   >:(

I agree Chech but this isn't The Barns first bit of racial problems. I'm guessing the trees have probably taken a turn for the worse and there will be a vigil at Toomers tonight. ;)

A Tuesday morning article about the incident:

I know you’re not going to believe this, but there is still more new cases of thuggery associated with the Auburn football program.

According to CBS Atlanta and other sources, two Auburn football players recently verbally assaulted an African-American girl in a McDonalds, calling her a nigger and a bitch.

When her brother stepped forward to defend her, according to the girl’s father, Auburn center Reese Dismukes became more aggressive towards them, threatening that “he would crush him.” Understandably, this sent the brother into a rage, who ironically was the only one of the three men involved arrested by the Auburn police. Hmmmmmm.

Patrick Miller was named by the girl’s father as the other player. Miller is listed on the Auburn roster as an offensive lineman, standing 6’7″ and weighing in at 273. Dismukes is listed at 6’3″, 300.

And these beacons of humanity chose an African-American girl in a McDonalds as their target of aggression, using racial language unconscionable for a young man who plays alongside those who share her race, and offense for the word.

Simply put, if you subscribe to the actions I’ve listed here, glazing over it all because you’re “an Aubuhn man” and looking past the reckless pattern of behavior that Chizik obviously doesn’t have control of on the Plains, you’re no better than Joe Paterno who looked the other way for four decades in Happy Valley.

This looks like an opportunity for y'all and errbody's buddies at the NCAA to get your hands on another $60 Million. Lack of institutional control!

I can see a practice where all the other OL back off and leave him alone to block all eleven men on defense.  :)
