Maybe, unless it was in the parking lot. Imagine if one of the players stole some French fries from them, cut in line to make an order, spilled a drink on them (or the reverse), or stole their parking space. It was McDonald's; couldn't be much more heinous than that. Just a few years ago they were notified by the feds that their % of minorities was the lowest of the SEC, and almost all of them were athletes.
The "new" Aubrun with minority students parading around in the AU gear is almost a joke. So, this story doesn't surprise me, but it should receive attention. That word is hateful, hurtful, and inappropriate (legally wrong or not).
