I have Bud as one of my 4 picks this week in a fantasy golf league that I'm in. He played very well last week and was in contention to win before he hit the water on 18. He still finished 4th. He is really becoming a solid player.

Bud has the ability to go low. I was impressed with the -20 he posted last week even on an easy course. He will not have any problem keeping his PGA card. He sould go over the $1M mark this weekend. I also noticed he picked up Mutual of Omaha as a sponsor or somebody loaned him a shirt. He already had Titleist. Not bad for a kid one year out of college.

No kidding. Those are legitimate sponsors and the more weeks he has like last week, the more money they will be offering him. I heard him interviewed last week and he talked about some stuff that he and his coach worked on that clicked. It is showing. We'll see him hoisting a trophy sometime soon, I think. Maybe this weekend.

I noticed Jason Bohn was wearing one also I'll have to check Michael Thompson to see if he is being sponsored by them as well, could there be a Bama connection there?

You may be onto something there, J. Mutual Of Omaha has a strong presence in  Alabama with their Medicare supplement.

Thompson is not sponsored by Mutual of Omaha. They sponsor several players besides Bohn and Cauley. See attached link for golfers they sponsor.

Bud shoots a 67 today that puts him at -10 in T7 place. The leader is -16. He got some TV time again today. He is in very good position for a good finish.

Roll Tide.

Cauley shot a -4 (66) today to finish at -14. He is currently in T4 place and it looks like that is where he will finish. another good week. He was on the first page of the TV leaderboard most of the weekend. He will go over $1M for the year today. He is also racking up FedEx points.

If he keeps up this pace, he could even make the Ryder Cup. I don't know that he could work his way into the top 10 with the season in the last quarter, but he could be a captain's pick if he were to win one coming in and have a strong showing in the PGA Championship. I think Dufner is another one who could make the Ryder Cup, even if he is a boog.

Check it out, X. You pick a golfer from 4 groups. What they win, you win. Your ranking is a direct result of your winnings. The league I'm in is a 2 man league that includes me and a buddy from South Carolina. I'm currently $6 million ahead of him.
If your interested, let me know and we'll get you in for next year, or if you just want to get used to how it works, I'll get him to send you an invite to join now.

Cauley won $214,933 for his 4th place finish. That makes his season earnings $1,170,946. Since he turned pro 14 months ago he has earned $1,906,095.

This young man has a bright career ahead of him. I guess you could say he is living a dream. Playing golf on the finest courses in the world and getting paid well to do it.

Bud's agent, Icon Sports has an arrangement with Mutual of Omaha for all of their clients including Ian Poulter, Fred Funk, Joe Ogilvie and others.  Bud also has AP on his shirt sleeve which is for Audemars Piguet a really, really high end watchmaker.  On his golf bag he has BAMA and Wounded Warriors. He also wears Ian Poulter Design clothing and plays all Titleist clubs and wears Footjoy shoes.

Monster Energy drink is also a sponsor. The Icon Sports link below lists all of his sponsors as well as some addtional information. Check out his interests - Alabama football of course.

Cauley seems like a nice guy with a good attitute. He represents Alabama well. This Youtube was posted last November after Cauley earned his tour card.
