Title: "Tide's AJ McCarron not living in past"

Quote
A year ago, there wasn't competition at every starting position on a star-studded Alabama football team, but there certainly was an intense battle at quarterback.

What a difference 365 days make. Now there seems to be stiff competition at every position except quarterback.

Just don't suggest that to AJ McCarron.

"Like Coach says, 'It's not about what you did in the past, it's what you're doing right now,'" the junior quarterback said...

I like his attitude and hope he means it.  It is easy to relax when there is not tough competition for your spot like there was when PS was at Bama.  While watching the spring game AJ seem to have lazy feet at times and throwing off his back foot.  I hope this will be addressed and corrected.

Thanks for the post. AJ sounds like he has grown up. He probably got some loving advice from CNS after the little tissle he had with lsu DB that thinks he is Gods' gift to college football. RTR!
