Title: Pathetic Book Written About Paterno
Post by: Marshal Dillon on August 15, 2012, 09:47:40 PM
Maybe I will come across as cold and heartless, but this shows why Paterno had to go and how he had lost track of what was important.

Quote
In one excerpt, Posnanski said Paterno “sobbed uncontrollably” when he met with his former staff Nov. 10, the day after he was fired.

Quote
Later, one of his former captains, Brandon Short, stopped by the house. When Brandon asked, 'How are you doing, Coach?' Paterno answered, 'I'm okay,' but the last syllable was shaky, muffled by crying, and then he broke down and said, 'I don't know what I'm going to do with myself.'

Very touching to see Paterno so concerned about himself. Did he cry for any of those 10 year boys who were raped by his friend and buddy Sandusky?
