Johnny Musso is one of my all time favorite players. My older sister graduated from Banks HS in B'ham with Johnny. He dated one of her best friends and came over to our house several times. I knew he played football and was going to Alabama but had no idea he was about to be one of the best running backs to ever play college football.

I met Johnny Musso in a math class, but got to know him in Bryant Hall after that.  He was the heart and soul of the team, especially during the early wishbone years.  Nobody could block like Musso.

I had the pleasure to watch johnny on TV. I could hear their games on radio but sometimes certain games would be played on TV back then. He was the best RB I had ever seen at that time. RTR!
