Title: SEC's best 25 players
Post by: Hannibal Lecter, MD on August 24, 2012, 11:29:41 AM
ESPN.com SEC blog guys counting down. Already at #6. Which Alabama guys will make the top 5?

You'd think that Barrett Jones, DJ Fluker, Eddy Lacy, Nico Johnson, and CJ Mosley would all receive consideration for the top 25.

I'm thinking maybe only Barrett will make the top 5.

Good call (Barrett).

What, is Mingo (LSU) 28 years old?  That guy's been there for YEARS.

So with all these great players then LSU should have no excuse for losing. What will be the words of the great les miles. RTR!

Barrett Jones, Jarvis Jones, Tyler Wilson, Marcus Lattimore.....who's the 5th?

The Honey Badger?  DJ Fluker?

LSU already has 5 players listed  I guess that means LSU is a lock to win the SEC.  But wait, they still have LES.

#5 - Barrett Jones
#4 - Knile Davis

I'm not gonna think much of their rankings if DJ Fluker gets omitted.

They need to scratch their #24, Da'Rick Rogers formerly of Tennessee.

Yeah, Lee, they started the countdown before he left.  I think we may have another bad one in the top 2 (I'm thinking Lattimore and Mathieu).

BTW, I see there's a mighty fine 2014 player up your way that Bama wants:  Jalen Hurd from Beech Senior HS.

ETA:  Actually, I think I was wrong.  The top two will be Jarvis Jones (Georgia) and Lattimore.  I guess they did their ranking P.B. (post badger).

Yeah, Jalen rushed for 451 yards and scored 4 touchdowns last week against last year's Tennessee State champions.
