We speak ACC, but like you we're Bama 1st.  I've got a kid at Carolina and a lady from Duke.  We're all watching Carolina's problems too; wondering what the NCAA will decide to do to them.

I grew up in T-Town and have been a BAMA fan since before I could walk. I still get a little giddy with that crisp fall air comes back with those blue skies overhead, walking down to the stadium with the thousands of fans. There is nothing like watching everybody trickle in and end up forming one HUGE mass of CRIMSON...some of my fondest memories.  I always get a little homesick during football season.

I don't know if anyone has really surprised me because all of these young men have so much talent but I do like to use the word pleased.In the last scrimmage I thought the 2's looked very good on both sides of the ball which is the depth that CNS is looking for. I was a little surprised with Alec Morris, he's a little further along than I thought he would be at this time but he still has a ways to go. It will be easier to see any surprises after 2 or 3 games.

Well...I get home every chance I get to see family and friends. Hoping to be able to travel more in the next couple of years and would definitely be trying to get back for some games.

That is good to hear. I think I am really surprised with how TJ Yeldon has come on in such a short time. I can't wait to actually see him in a game setting. The overall depth is something we haven't seen in...well decades.

Yeldon is a special player, he is very talented but he is supported by a lot of other very talented players in other positions which will only make him a better player. ;)

Welcome, BFinACC! Always glad to have a fellow Bamite join us. I am actually about to be in the same boat as you, as my wife, son, and myself are moving to ACC land this coming weekend (Maryland, actually) for our second tour of duty in Terps country.

See if you can do something about those crazy uniforms they wore last year while you are up there.

I do have to agree with that statement.  The other board has too many "jokers" who like to post crap just to get people to read their posts and stir up trouble (KINGPIN). This board seems much better for actual football discussion. Glad to be a part.

Most of the posters here are excellent and really try to post good stuff, plus we have fun with each other while doing it.

Yeah...I read The Woolly sometimes and there is some good but not as consistently as on this board.
