Yes, they showed this to Lou Holtz (who went to KSU) during half time. Since the guy couldn't advance the football under college rules, the ball went back to the 7 anyway. I can just see him running into the end zone and laying the ball down on the ground after he thought he scored a touchdown. That would still be a live ball since he is in the wrong end zone. Still, they should have let him score just to see the disappointment when he was told it didn't count. And they should change that rule. Let it be retreated, if the kicking team is dumb enough to do so, let them run it as long as they want. Ha.

I watched the game as a kid. I couldn't believe what I had seen. Poor guy took crap all his life for that one play. Most people overlooked what a good player he really was, because of that.
