There'll be talk about this player or that player deserving to be considered among the contenders for the most prestigious trophy in sports, mostly based on what he did in week one.

But when analyzing the Heisman race, it's important to keep your eye on the big picture. The vote for the award will not take place tomorrow. It will take place in the three weeks prior to Monday, December 3...

I want to add TJ Yeldon, Jalston Fowler, Eddie Lacy, and Dee Hart to win by committee. If you can't use the "by committee" method then the obvious choice will be AJ McCarron.  Since December of 2011 he has been the best, either by stats or by the eye test.  But in order to utilize the eye test, Heisman voters would have to at least own a TV, which I have doubts about with about half of them. My second choice is Barrett Jones. SIAP

Well said.  #+   I believe that deserves a few e-creds.

Do you have an account with NBC Sports?  Maybe you can go smack down Sparty on that other article.

No NBC account yet. But I found an Anti-Bamite/SEC blog that needs addressing.

On the CBS link, the rebuttal by Huachuca was strong and comprehensive.  But I think I have him beginning to swing our way. I'll be back!

Here is a poll on whether or not BAMA should move to #1. http://collegefootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2012/09/02/poll-should-tide-rise-above-usc-lsu-to-no-1/

After reading some of the comments on that poll, I pray we see USC in the title game.  They desperately need a '92 Miami style a** whooping.

It won't do any good with those beachcombers. Maybe take their surf boards for a month to get their attention.  These la-la landers hired Lil Laney. Maybe tighten their vaginal mesh until they turn blue-- until they agree to read up on football before they post.  :wall:
