Very good article. Be sure to scroll down to read the entire wrap-up.

I’m convinced that even Alabama kicker Jeremy Shelley could have rushed for 100 yards last night behind that O-line.

The “Cowboys Classic” between No. 8 Michigan and No. 2 Alabama was almost as big a letdown as last January’s BCS Championship Game between the Crimson Tide and LSU.

Not to me!!   :dunno:

It was only a let down to people who hate seeing Alabama on top.

Exactly! Many fans and sportswriters are tired of the domination of the SEC. When the they hear the chant, SEC, SEC, they start to lose their mind.

I see this guy still has no class.

STILL KIFFIN: So much for all that talk about Lane Kiffin maturing. Just weeks after he was outed for lying on his coaches poll, Kiffin kept up his “Denis the Menace” act by banning walk-throughs at the LA Coliseum for opposing teams last week – a very petty move – and then going for it on 4th  and 3 while leading Hawaii by 32 points in the fourth quarter on Saturday with Barkley still in the game.

He will numbskull his way into at least one loss.  If Barkley gets hurt trying to run up the score their whole season will be down the toilet.

I thought the same with Geno Smith of WVU and Wilder of FSU. Seems coaches are convinced that padding stats is beneficial in the polls or in recruiting,-- but it flies in the face of everything we learned about sportsmanship from Coach Bryant.

I don't wish anyone to get hurt, but it would be such poetic justice if a key player got hurt and missed 4 to 5 games when playing late in a runaway victory, then see USC lose 2 or 3 of those games. I would love to see the fan's reactions towards Kiffin.

USC fans don't follow football much. They are into movies and EPA protest marches. They think the Bronco chase made OJ famous. HTH

What if the injured player had been a major organizer of EPA marches, but due to his injury he could no longer organize or participate in them?

Kiffen would be fired and they would hire Oprah.

I truly believe Kiffin will be made to pay for his poor sportsmanship this year. Like was stated while he is trying to pad Barkleys' stats a knee could go out and poof it is all done except the tissue for crying. JMHO. RTR!

I dont' know if Oprah would be a shoe in, there is some stiff competition out there:  Al Pacino (Any Given Sunday);  Gene Hackman (The Replacements) and Henry Winkler (The Waterboy)  and lets not forget Denzell Washington (Remember the Titans)
