Title: Alabama softball supporter named to ESPN Hall of Fans Post by: Jamos on September 05, 2012, 10:53:56 AM Alabama has long been known for its rabid football fans but today a fan of one of UA's women's programs earned recognition from ESPN as one of the nation's biggest sports fans.
On Wednesday, Alabama softball fan Emily Pitek was named one of the first three inductees into ESPN's Hall of Fans, which aims to recognize the most passionate sports fans in the nation.
