TUSCALOOSA, Alabama -- Tweeting, texting and downloading should be easier to accomplish at Bryant-Denny Stadium this season.

Ready for its debut at Saturday's home opener against Western Kentucky will be a new Distributed Antenna System (DAS), which promises to provide "improved wireless coverage, capacity and data speeds during peak network usage," according to a university release.

 #+ About time!

Sometimes I look around and see grown men "Facebooking" during games at BDS.  I just shake my head.

I'm just wanting to post my in-game report to you guys when I'm there. Until now, that was hard to do. I'm going to the Ole Miss game, so I'll test it then.

I'd appreciate that.  But I'm with HL in general.  It amazes me that people who find themselves in once-in-a-lifetime situation (e.g., standing next to a famous person, witnessing an incredible event) raise their cells and call someone to brag on their accomplishment.  Addicts?
BTW, I don't carry one unless I'm out of town.  So don't call me!  ;)

I have to admit that I am one of those who would text or post to FB during a game. I would take a picture, and post it also. I think it's in the excitement of the game and wanting to share it. I mean, I have FB friends who block me during FB season anyway. They aren't fans of FB and hate all the FB talk. And that's fine. I haven't gone to a game at BDS in a long time but if I get there this season, I'm sure you all will get a picture! :)

RTR

so chech... do you mean we should call you? :) what was that number? roflol

However, I would NOT make a phone call.
