Title: No Fowler update Post by: bama87 on September 09, 2012, 04:47:02 PM I think this injury is significant, because no news until tomorrow's pressed. It has been said by someone on this board that it is a PCL. It wouldn't surprise me that it would be worse. I hope JF has a quick recovery. He is one of the hearts and soul of this team.

Title: Re: No Fowler update Post by: 2Stater on September 09, 2012, 06:54:39 PM I've looked at that replay at the risk of throwing up, several times. It's not good. :(
Title: Re: No Fowler update Post by: Jamos on September 09, 2012, 07:05:03 PM Losing Fowler is just terrrible but it could have been a lot worse but AJ survived his hits. I'm not pointing fingers at anyone as being the fault but I hope all of yesterday is corrected in practice this week. ;)

I'm not pointing fingers at anyone as being the fault but I hope all of yesterday is corrected in practice this week. ;) Indeed it could have been worse. Arky had the worst "luck", but almost every team in the SEC games had some injuries, many serious. Losing Fowler is a severe blow to our offensive plan, but it could have been worse. We've been fortunate that the O-line and other areas with thin depth have stayed healthy. May it stay so from here on to #15. Lacy is still hobbled and now Fowler is gone. Who do we have as a power back to go up the middle for that critical half yard? Yeldon is not a power back. ??? It'll have to be Lacy until someone steps up. Title: Re: No Fowler update Post by: Marshal Dillon on September 09, 2012, 09:30:39 PM I wonder if we will have our best players in with 6 minutes left in the game of a blowout after this?

Who's next in the rotation? Calloway? Fowler needed some reps. Snap happens. It's not good. :( ^^This^^ I got sick when they showed the slo-mo replay. I hate it I think he's done for the year. The knee joint is not designed to go in that direction. :'( for the best!!! Who's next in the rotation? Calloway? Fowler needed some reps. Snap happens. Dee Hart was available. Also, I wonder if they are looking at moving someone like Calloway to RB. "Needing snaps' is a poor excuse for risking one of your most important players, especially with Lacy not 100%. ??? Title: Re: No Fowler update Post by: bama87 on September 10, 2012, 11:58:25 AM I think Callaway is the next man up. He will be used as a blocker more so than runner. We have plenty who can run. He is big enough to do the dirty blocking work.
Title: Re: No Fowler update Post by: ricky023 on September 10, 2012, 12:02:22 PM Well one thing for sure. We had better come together as a team tighter than ever. I hope JF gets well soon. RTR!
