SPANISH FORT, Alabama -- Deon "D.J." Johnson, arrested last week on charges of second-degree rape and sodomy, is still a student at Spanish Fort High School and is eligible to play Friday night, according to Baldwin County Public Schools Spokesman Terry Wilhite.
"Student discipline is taken when a violation of campus rules has occurred," Wilhite said. "A student arrested has the same rights as an adult and that is that he is innocent until proven guilty. There are no school sanctions against Mr. Johnson at this time."

I'll withhold comment for now.  :-X

At least it's easy to keep an eye on him when he's on the field or the bench.  ;)

Innocent until proven guilty, which goes for any other human being in the US, regardless of accusations - period.
