Vulnerability, even for an offensive line as gifted and experienced as Alabama’s, was to be expected. Perfection is demanded, of course, but it can’t be required on every snap of every game.

What happened to the Crimson Tide offensive line last week against Western Kentucky veered far away from perfection after the first play and surpassed vulnerability at some point during the second half. In the end of a 35-0 victory, it was a rude awakening that left members of the experienced group feeling like they’d just lost. ...

After games against Jacksonville State and Louisiana-Monroe, Arkansas ranks 86th in the nation in total defense.

Well all of us that like JSU Arkansas made us feel better. Coach Jack Crowe has a good feeling I think. Now I think Arky has great talent for a Bobby Petrino run team but not a John L. Smith run team. We will see this week what they really have in their fortitude. RTR!

We've discussed in the past how hard it is to figure out the mindset of 20 year old kids. I too have bought in and believe CNS has transcended that and has our team living in the moment and competing with their personal bests.
