(Guess that makes me an old dude now!) The headline in the Montgomery Advertiser the next day read: Alabama Shocks Football World -- Upsets Mighty Auburn 10-0. Well, some of us weren't shocked and Auburn wasn't so mighty after all.
But actually it was the '58 IB game where you could see it coming. The Barn won 14 - 8 and Scooter scored in that game too. You could see Bama was coming back. That game, even though we lost, was when I became a die hard Bama fan.
