Owls defensive end Cory Henry told the Palm Beach Post this week that Alabama 'could be beat.'

"They ain't what people think," Henry said. "They're good and everything but they can be beat, too. They just execute well. They just execute and beat you."

 :duh:

Of course they execute well and beat you.  That is how you win championships year in and year out.  There are no tricks, secrets, or gimmicks.

Does this kid not understand how the game works?  He is about to get introduced to the process.

We are going to do the same thing we do every week, regardless of the opponent.  We are going to line up in front of you and when the ball is snapped we are going to knock you on your backside.  Then when the whistle blows we are going to help you up, or motion for your trainers if you can't get up.  There are no secrets here.  Now let's see you try to stop it.

That FAU guy was having a enjoying smoothie with his girlfriend when the reporter approached him. He talked big to impress his girl, all the while winking to the reporter.  The CBS guy was busy taking notes and did not notice the player's signaling.

Or

The FAU guy was working on his 8th beer when the CBS guy approached...

Or

The FAU backup was tired of their starting QB sleeping with his girlfriend so when the CBS guy approached...

I guess a one-point win over national powerhouse Wagner qualifies in south Florida as having enough cache to talk smack.  :eyeroll:

Here's the scenario: big pileup, then a helmet rolls out of the pile...

:lol2:...YOU GOT IT!! The first thing I thought of was the Florida "speed" with Rainy and Demps, that didnt work out so well for them. Didnt Cade Foster break one of them?

Story on Yahoo! about the same thing. Great comments by the writer:

"We got speed against them," Henry said. "You got speed you can win."

That's right, I forgot Alabama was super slow. If only Michigan, Western Kentucky and Arkansas had been able to exploit Alabama's incredibly slow players, they would have been able to stave off the incredible beatdowns they incurred.

If only they had FAU's game plan!

Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't Denard faster than Usain Bolt, the world's fastest man?
And Denard ran VERY fast for an average of 1 yard.   :dunno:
"Bring it."
