I was at the grocery store tonight and saw a lady wearing a Bama t-shirt. When I walked by and gave the obligatory Roll Tide, she responded Thank you. Thank you???? I was stunned. What is the proper response in this situation? Oh, Roll Tide! I smiled and immediately said "roll tide" and she just looked at me like she didn't have a clue. Must have been her boyfriend's cap. ;) I'm feeling more optimistic today. I had a meeting this morning and went out for lunch afterward. The gentlemen in front of me held the door as I was walking in and when he saw my shirt he immediately said Roll Tide. I responded with Roll Tide and another member of his party said, "Do you all always have to do that?" I heard his wife say, "Of course, Roll Tide!"
