Title: NFL Players Union Taking Big Risk with Lawsuit? Post by: Marshal Dillon on March 03, 2011, 12:23:13 PM I agree, judge may not feel much sympathy for a guy moaning about his $900,000 a year job in this economy.

Post by: ricky023 on March 03, 2011, 03:28:13 PM I think the NFLPA has the wrong man in charge. When Gene Upshaw was there he would work with the CBA and owners but for the players. This new guy seems to be all about money especially for himself. I'm not saying the owners are right but there comes a time when you have to cut your losses and come to an agreement. If the players and owners don't move off dead center there is going to be another lost season. The fans are going to be cut short again. RTR!
Title: Re: NFL Players Union Taking Big Risk with Lawsuit? Post by: Chechem on March 03, 2011, 03:40:18 PM There is so much big money in the NFL that it'll stay in courts from now on. There is always talk of safety, like you hear from every union, but the reality is the players want more of the income from the owners.
Unlike farm products and other commodities, at least most of the money goes to the owners (grocery store) and players (farmers), not the middle man (pickers and truckers). |
