Poll: Who's been the SEC's best QB?
There's no position in sports scrutinized quite like the quarterback position.

Everyone has different criteria, too, as far as what they're looking for in a great quarterback, although rallying your teammates in clutch situations and delivering when the game is on the line are always going to be right up there near the top, regardless of what the statistics say.

This week on the SEC blog, I tabbed Alabama's AJ McCarron as the SEC quarterback I'd take right now based on the way he's playing.

Yes, I voted for AJ too. I know Murray is having a good year but he has to play against some real SEC teams like USCe and Fla. RTR!

SEC hell! AJ is leading the entire country guiding the #1 team handily through a Top 10  opener and a SEC road game. Padding stats is not the Tide way of doing things, because what is most important is the eventuality. As for the Heisman, and judging all that has happened since the 2011 presentation, name one QB that has won a NC against the #1 team and then has his team leading the country through 4 games?

Arron Murray is leading. AJ is tied with Conner Shaw. Everyone needs to vote.

Conner Shaw? He's OK but Mighty Vandy knocked him out of one game and he did not play another.

Conner Shaw is actually leading now, followed by Murray then AJ.  Looks like mass voting by USCe.
