Title: What to watch in the SEC: Week 5 Post by: 2Stater on September 29, 2012, 06:52:16 AM http://espn.go.com/blog/ncfnation/post/_/id/66864/what-to-watch-in-the-sec-week-5-5
Quote 10. Finding Bayou playmakers: Some of the criticism that has been thrown Mettenberger's way should be directed toward LSU's receivers. We haven't seen a go-to option for Mettenberger like we saw with Rueben Randle last year. Odell Beckham Jr. was thought to be that guy, but he has caught only 11 passes for 158 yards and no touchdowns. He caught two passes against Auburn. Jarvis Landry leads LSU with 17 receptions and 160 yards, but has only one score. Kadron Boone leads the team with three receiving touchdowns. If this offense is going to progress, someone has to step up as more of a consistent receiving threat. No mention of Bama-Ole Miss, except a little diddy about Bo Wallace's shoulder injury. Must be a foregone conclusion from ESPN about the outcome of this one. Title: Re: What to watch in the SEC: Week 5 Post by: cbbama99 on September 29, 2012, 08:29:05 AM I can't get the SEC Network, so I'll miss the Arky/TAMU game. I'll catch UT-UGA and some of the USCe-UK game before Bama plays. Up here, looks like there are two games MAYBE worth watching: Va Tech hosts Cincinnati, and NC State v. Miami. FSU also plays South Florida. Is this what I have been reduced to? Looking forward to the VATech-Cincy game? :wall: :wall:
