Title: Ex-Tide QB Phillip Sims gets his chance to start for Virginia Post by: pmull on October 03, 2012, 04:24:01 PM I'm glad to see Phillip Sims doing well. He came in as a highly recruited QB. He battled AJ and IMO help make AJ a better player. He also left the program with class. I hope he has a good career at Virginia. He has got us good stats for a non-starter.

Sims has played off the bench in each of Virginia’s five games and has completed 28 of 46 passes for 340 yards, five touchdowns and no intereceptions. He entered last week’s 41-38 loss to Louisiana Tech in the second half in relief of starter Michael Rocco, who had thrown three interceptions.
