To me, the biggest problem is that 1) the investigations take way too long, and 2) they punish the wrong people. Take the Auburn scenario. Let's say Cam did accept money to play at Auburn. The NCAA takes 2 years to figure it out, then they punish Auburn with loss of schollys, post season ban, etc. So how does that affect the main person who did wrong? Not at all. Cam doesn't care about Auburn being in trouble. He was just in it for the money. He's in the NFL now and isn't affected by the sanctions. Until the NCAA figures out a way to punish the actual guilty party, they will always be an ineffective joke. They are like the UN of college sports.

I agree with every one of his suggestions. Also, we could go back to having JV games then. RTR!

Let's just take the first three months of this year. This will be quick because, unfortunately, you already know these stories by heart: • Jim Tressel's emails, the coverup, Ohio State's Tat Five and the NCAA's inexplicable decision to let them play in the Sugar Bowl. • The Fiesta Bowl Financial Fiasco, which gave big-time ammunition to the critics of the BCS system. (By the way, the Fiesta Bowl will NOT be kicked out of the BCS, in my opinion.)
