Title: Georgia @ South Carolina Game
Post by: SUPERCOACH on October 04, 2012, 11:29:13 AM
What is your take on this game?  I think there is a good chance that the winner will make it to Atlanta.  Georgia has an easier schedule the rest of the way, so they might be able to lose this game and still make it again this year.  South Carolina still has to play LSU, but that is not anywhere near as daunting of a task as it was last year.

I was leaning toward Georgia until they gave up so many points to Tennessee.  Now I think I give the edge to South Carolina.

Plus they are now without their leading receiver. I think SC takes them at home.

Georgia is a little bit better at this time on offense. Their defense could come alive and USCe would be in trouble. I do however, agree, that Georgia can find several ways to loose. RTR!

These are two very good teams.  It is a good thing that Bama won't face them unless we make it to the SECCG.  I'm giving USCe the edge, for the reasons mentioned, plus home field advantage and more clever coaching.  USCe has the better defense, UGA has the better offense.  I'd put my money on D.

I think it will come down to the team that can protect its QB the best.  I believe that South Carolina may have a little advantage there, plus Shaw is more mobile and can create a lot of plays.

Overall I think this is about as evenly matched of a game as we will see all season in the SEC.

The way UT ran the ball on UGA you would think SC could do the same. If SC QB Shaw can hit a few deep passes I think SC wins. If not, UGA can crowd the line and stop Lattimore then UGA wins.
