My sister had an MRI yesterday and it indicated multiple brain tumors. One is operable and the rest are not. She had a melanoma on her foot a few months back and was successfully removed. We don't know yet what type of cancer it is but think it is probably melanoma.

I would greatly appreciate your prayers. I would also appreciate sharing this with your prayer teams and warriors. Prayers are precious a we really appreciate every one.

Prayers going up for your sister and your whole family. Cancer is a horrible thing. God is great and He is able to heal when all else fails! God bless your sister and all of you.  If there is a clinical trial available (do your own research because some doctors aren't really "up to date" on current trials), see if she can get into a trial. A clinical trial saved my mother's live in 2004. She was diagnosed with Small Cell Lung Cancer and told to go home and get her affairs in order. My sister found a clinical trial for Mama and it worked. Many prayers and blessings to you all.

We are all diligently searching for any trials that may be available. M D Anderson has one and Vanderbilt seems to be leading the way with melanoma research.

If any of you happen to run across one for melanoma, please let us know. With all the great researchers here, I know we won't miss anything.

The first phase of what will be a long road for sister begins tomorrow morning. She is scheduled for brain surgery at 7:00 am. Prayerfully believing that all goes well

Sis came through the surgery wonderfully and is in recovery as I type. Her surgeon said she was talking and eating ice chips.

What a praise for today!! God is indeed good.

Update: Sis is out of the hospital and at home convalescing.
She has an appointment with her Oncologist next week where she will find out her treatment plan.
We appreciate all your prayers throughout this. God is indeed good and will see her through this ordeal.

Sis starts her first round of radiation treatment this coming Monday. She is also due for another PET scan next week as well. Please be in prayer that the treatments are successful and her scan shows no other cancer.
