Title: Miami AD Takes over for Osborne At Nebraska
Post by: ALTideUp on October 05, 2012, 01:23:10 PM
A surprising choice on the face of it. Picking the former AD of Dante's third ring of hell to take over for the Scoutmaster of college football. Article from the WWLIS (http://espn.go.com/college-sports/story/_/id/8460458/miami-hurricanes-athletic-director-shawn-eichorst-leaves-nebraska-cornhuskers)

Not really, he's only been at Miami for around 18 months, so he still has clean hands. Plus, he is going to a major sports program in a major conference. He studied business in college & has a law degree & he played DB in college. Barry Alvarez, a Nebraska grad, recommended him to Osborne. This way they bring in fresh blood with no good ole boy ties to anyone around there. I wish we had the same thing.

Do you really think someone can work in the Miami athletic department and come away with clean hands? ???
