Title: Decatur Church Fire Post by: pmull on April 05, 2011, 11:08:23 AM Most of you know there were severe storms thoughout the state and surrounding areas yesterday. A local church in our area was hit by lightning and the building is damaged beyond repair. The Church is Bellview Baptist in Decatur, AL. Please remember this church and their members in your prayers. :pray:

The Education Building and Fellowship Hall are completely gone. The sanctuary was hardly damaged. They will be able to hold church services there tomorrow. The church was insured so they plan on rebuilding and it should be bigger and nicer than before.
