Title: "Alabama vs. Wisconsin in 2015? "

Alabama vs. Wisconsin in 2015?
When it comes to scheduling nonconference foes, the SEC doesn't get much credit. Like, none. But Alabama has done pretty good job of stepping out of the SEC's comfort zone every once in a while.

There was the Michigan game this year, which was just ... yeah. Alabama played Penn State in 2011 and 1010, Virginia Tech in 2009 and Clemson in 2008. Alabama is also set to play Michigan State in a home-and-home in 2016 and 2017. Alabama will also meet West Virginia in the 2014 Chick-fil-A Kickoff inside the Georgia Dome in Atlanta.

You can't blame us if all the nonconference foes in the other BCS conferences are terrible.  Until we played them and beat them to a pulp they were all media darlings.

I really like these games.  It makes it very hard for the press to keep pumping sunshine on a team once we smack them down pretty good.  Take Michigan from this year for example.  All summer long all we heard was how good Michigan was going to be, how Denard was going to beat Usain Bolt and win the Heisman, blah, blah, blah.  Now, not so much.

I saw a guy on ESPN yesterday.  He was talking how Bama hadn't played anyone so it was hard to justify the No. 1 ranking.  He said Michigan wasn't that good this year.

BUT, a few minutes later, he said how great Notre Dame was, pointing to their wins against the Michigan teams as proof.   ???

^^^ And typical. Now these non-conference games are good examples of the hangover affect of being pounded by the Tide. When we beat them-- they tend to stay beat. When they turn around and lose (or eke by) their next 3 or 4 games it hurts our SOS and the court of public opinion never remembers (#8 in the case of Michigan) they were once a decent team. IDK what can be done to minimize this hangover affect. Perhaps CNS could go over the game film and give our defeated opponents pointers-- kinda like HSC's notes. JMHO

Ya'll are laughing, but some coaches have actually called him after the beat down and asked for pointers (Tommy Bowden).

It is pretty funny.

They could join CRS and go to the Film Room for tips and advice from us. Hope this helps college football.

Now that could be fun.

Slight change of subject but I'd like to see WVA vs. Oregon.  The scoreboard might not have enough digits.
