Title: AJ's knee
Post by: Hannibal Lecter, MD on October 22, 2012, 12:39:31 PM
My apologies for starting another thread on AJ's knee, but I was interested in your opinions from the game Saturday?  Did you notice AJ showing degraded mobility?  I didn't really, BUT I did notice that our game plan seemed to cater to him moving as little as possible.  Lots of shotgun, as the lateral/back movements of the drop can be intensive to the knee.

Also, while I feel a little silly saying this about a guy who threw for a career high in yardage, all his 15+ yard passes seemed to be under thrown.  Possibly because he wasn't getting the same torque from his lower body?  I think lots of his passes could've (and should've) been defended and TN just played poorly.

I didn't notice any mobility problems, but I did notice that a lot of his passes where under thrown and should have been knocked down or intercepted.

The only thing I noticed was when he step out of bounds for a loss instead of throwing the ball away.
