Last night, as the clocked ran down to zero, the camera's were zooming in on AJ. He was crying. Tears of happiness for sure! I KNEW at that moment, some insults were coming our way. And i was right. :(

 I remember Tebow crying. I remember all the jokes, insults and slams sent his way because his emotions ran over. I said at the time that there was nothing wrong with crying - I don't care what sport/event it is. I still believe that. Sometimes our emotions get so over tapped, that there is nothing else we CAN do, but cry. (or maybe go downtown and start a fight, do some drugs or get a DUI).  I would hope that Bama fans will not get into a war of words with those insulting AJ's tears. I didn't blame Tim Tebow for his tears and I certainly understand AJ's tears. I was crying right along with him! I admire both of these young men - real men have emotions and can deal with them without fighting and insulting others. :)

Exactly, that "little B" beat them. That's the important thing! (and I'm not calling AJ that - he's a real man in my book!)

In 2009 when we beat Tebow and Florida in the SECCG Tebow gave all he had and lost to a better team. His emotions came out on national TV. A lot of people then and still today make fun of him for that. I remember Tebow not going to the locker room and staying on the field during our celebration. After things calmed down Tebow congratulated CNS and the players. I remember him showing nothing but class and respect for our program.

People emotions come out in many ways. AJ composed himself and gave several very good interviews after the game. He did about a 10 minute interview on ESPN Sportcenter and it was the best interview I have ever seen him do. He said all the right things. He spoke well of LSU and gave all the credit to his teammates and coaching staff.

I agree with you. I was one of the few who defended Tim Tebow after their loss. The only reason being that I KNOW how sometimes when your emotions get so worked up, there is NOTHING you can do but cry. It happens. I hated the jokes, the pictures and yes even the t-shirt making fun of Tim Tebow.  AJ and Tim have class.. so many fans do not

AJ will always be remembered as a class act and great ambassador for the University of Alabama. He wore his heart on his sleeve last night after one of the greatest comebacks in Alabama football history. Let the jerks say what they will. I, for one, don't care what they think. Roll Tide, AJ. We're all proud of you.

 #+ Terrie you are dead on. I didn't laugh when Tebow cried and I ain't now. If a grown man can't cry then I wonder about his heart or if there is one. I bet if you loose a child or some one close you'll cry. These players scrutinized so much I wonder how they can have any kind of a normal life. RTR!

The gigantic difference between AJ and Tebow is that AJ won the game with a heroic drive. Tebow wept after getting a good old fashioned beat down. It's a bad comparison in my opinion.
