Title: Alabama v. LSU result predicts presidential election?
Post by: Catch Prothro on November 07, 2012, 09:09:41 AM
Somehow this seems backwards...    :-\

Quote
Since 1984, the winner of the Alabama – LSU game has gone right along with election results. An Alabama victory was followed by a win by the democratic nominee, while a win by LSU signaled the Republican candidate being voted into office. It has been accurate for the past seven elections.

When it comes down to it, I'd rather win the game.   ???

???

This is strange indeed.  I would expect the Bama victories to be somehow connected to the elephant victories, and the LSU victories to be connected to the donkey victories for some reason.

It was possible for both to win Alabama and Mitt Romney but it just didn't happen. RTR!

That may be one of the most disturbing and saddest facts I have ever read.  :(
