I think it will water down the regular season. And, while sometimes are issues picking two teams for a playoff, with a deserving team being left out, I haven't seen a situation where there were more than 4 deserving teams.

These are great events IMO. The regular season remains very important.

Is there something here that we don't see on the face of the issue? I know College Football is a big business but 500 million is a lot of money. It comes to 1/2 billion dollars I am thinking. RTR!

With all due respect, Mr. President, this isn't basketball. BINGO!! I don't want to see a team with 2/3 losses get hot going in to the playoffs and knock off teams that are 13-0 and have played splendidly all year, but just have a bad night. Plus, it does water down the regular season, especially for the SEC, where every game is a knife fight. :dog: |
