Title: Thank you Post by: Dad of 5 on April 10, 2011, 05:54:21 PM I received a check yesterday from those who contributed money towards a benevolence fund for my family after my wife's death. I was humbled. I asked myself, "Why would these people give money to someone they have never met (minus a few of you)?" I don't have the answer. I can only say thank you. If you weren't able to give but have prayed for me and my kids, then that is plenty.
I would like to especially thank Smith and Supercoach for their effort and support with this. We are getting more into a routine, realizing that routine does not involve Pam anymore. My kids still hurt and wonder why? Yet, those hurts and questions are not quite as immobilizing as before. Please pray for God to heal my kids' hearts. For me, I realize that I can not raise my 5 kids apart from God's help. Many times it is by faith, when my emotions are counter to that. I may not understand why He took her, yet I know He has been faithful all my life. His Word is true, so I trust He will provide for us and love us. We've had a few people "check in" from other sites merely to offer criticism and bad mouth our moderators. But - CRS puts itself above that inane BS and does what really matters - supporting those who have supported us. Continued thoughts and prayers to you and your family.
