Sounds to me more like vandalism than burglary.

Do basketball-player arrests count with the football totals for the Fulmer Cup?

According to police, bouncers told the players to leave, then witnessed them breaking into a co-worker's car across the street. Police say the victim didn't notice any items missing from his car.

It is a waste.  But keep in mind the number of young people in sports, and what a minority do such things.  Most of them behave.

edit: I searched and found this (2007 numbers): "The NCAA is a membership-led nonprofit association of colleges and universities committed to supporting academic and athletic opportunities for 408,364 (2007) student-athletes in 28 men's and 27 women's intercollegiate sports with 17,713 teams participating at more than one thousand member schools."

I think there should probably be two different trophies here. The Fulmer cup for football and, oh, probably the Calipari cup for basketball (unless there is another vote out there).
