Title: Change of pace Post by: Elephantidae on November 11, 2012, 10:31:19 AM Would Blake Sims and his read option offense have been a good change of pace when we had 1st and goal from the 6 yd line? We could have put them on their heels a little and turned the tables on them with option runs. However, if we had tried it and failed the screams of anguish from the fans would be greater than they are now.

The option play probably would have worked great too, but you are right about the second guessing if it didn't work.
