Title: Bama vs Troy tonight 6pm cdt Post by: Jamos on April 12, 2011, 06:33:38 AM The ego of the Bama team was bruised up some from the trip to LSU land but it might have been a blessing for them. The team now understands that they can be beat and have a lot of work to do if they are going to be SEC and national champions.
LSU pitchers had no problem with the Tide hitters and this really surprised me. Bama pitchers were good enough to win all three of those games and this has to worry CPM some because Bama has to face other pitchers that are as good as Mack was for LSU. Defensively there are some issues too, Bama still has a problem of the throw from second base to first. Braud had a problem last year and Branham all of a sudden seems to have one as well. Bama had many defensive blunders in the three game series but the error by Branham on Sunday really hurt because it was late in the game. But, this is a new week and there are more games to be played and hopefully the team has put LSU behind them and moved forward with their trek to the College World Series. Roll Tide!!!
