Why did the Russellville High School running back, who'd committed to Alabama in July, 2009, then switched his commitment to Auburn in January of this year, finally settle on Alabama? Did that decision stem from pressure put on him by his adopted father and a family friend, an admitted Alabama fan? Or did it relieve pressure put on him by a high school coach that graduated from Auburn? And did any potential NCAA violations occur? Darren Woodruff believes he has some answers, and he shared his feelings Tuesday in a lengthy interview with The Birmingham News. Now the coach and his family won't even talk to the young man? Finebaum's producer called the coach yesterday to ask him to appear on the show to explain his perspective, and he rudely declined, saying "I'm not about to get into this mess". Hmmm...what "mess" is he talking about? A big 'un I suspect!
