Title: Rolando McClain to be cut
Post by: Jamos on November 29, 2012, 05:49:18 AM
Well it didn't take too long for his big mouth and thuggy ways to maybe ruin his career. This guy has a serious anger management problem and it wouldn't surprise me at all if he does something really stupid at sometime down the road and ends up in the pokey. ;)

I know Ro has had his issues, but the Raiders are a crap organization. I hope somebody picks him up and gives him a chance. Hopefully, he can turn things around.

I agrees, 2. I don't think he was ever happy at Oakland. I hope he has an attitude adjustment when he gets picked up by another team and lives up to his full potential.

So it's the Raiders fault that McClain is a thug & is causing problems with his team?

Rolando came out of Decatur High School as a thug with tremendous talent. He hung out with the wrong crowd and stayed in a lot of trouble. The hopes were to get him to Alabama and away from his thug friends and maybe he would mature and grow up. He had some issues at Alabama but for the most part he did what CNS and the staff asked him to do. The pros do not baby sit the players. You are paid to be a professional athlete and they expect you to act like one. It looks like the Raiders have seen enough of his mouth and attitude.

I know Coach Adcock who was his coach at Decatur. He told me when Rolando got in trouble with a gun during the off season that the best thing he could do was leave Decatur and never come back. At some point he will have to stop blaming all his problems on his friends and take responsibility. I hope someone picks him up and he gets things turned around. If not he will be another athlete that blows all his money and ends up in serious trouble.
