There appears to be no one in attendance.

5 minutes till kickoff, it dawns on me, even though Stanford is at home, it's hard to beat the same team twice.  And while the game last Saturday was big to Stanford, UCLA was already in the championship game.  So I need to change my pick.

I get the boy off the laptop, and Beeep, too late.

Stanford should be ashame of the crowd. The PAC ? plays their championship game on one of the teams campus because they can not sell tickets at a netural site. Stanford Stadium only holds 50,000 and it was less than half full. The announced crowd was 31,000 but it was more like 21,000. There will be 21,000 in Atlanta today outside the dome trying to buy tickets that don't get in.

And Nebraska returned tickets to the Big10 Championship Game that they are favored to win.   :o

What is with these schools?  They don't take their football seriously.

The SEC has beaten them into submission.  They have given up.

The SEC has beaten them into submission.  They have given up. We made their azz quit.

FIFY

Most of the tickets to the non-SEC championship games cost less than a ticket to the Alabama High School Playoffs.

In their defense it was a miserable rainy day. There may have been a lot of folk watching from the covered concourse. But if so, dude, kill the blimp shot. From high above it looked like, well, like the third quarter at Jerden-Hair.
