For those complaining about the play-calling, UGA does have a very good run D.  The passing game keeps them from loading the box and makes long runs like the last one possible.

That hit on Murray was not nearly as bad as Verne and Gary are trying to make it.  Dial just ran into him while the play was still in progress.

The positive is we have a running game and have the lead.

Bama has outgained UGA by 90 yds. this half.

For 28:00 minutes Georgia played well and Bama played poorly, yet we have a 3 point lead at the half and momentum. 

I think we'll be able to wear them in the second half and pull away in the fourth quarter.

Bama hasn't played poorly in the game I am watching. They have overcome some obstacles to take the lead. That is what champions do!

AND, if look at the replay, you can see the ref at the top of the screen facing the play and running towards it. He would have seen it if the penalty was there.  Good no call IMHO.

What game are you watching? In the first 28 minutes, we has two turnovers, special team blunders, and had not converted a single 3rd down. Plus, UGA was leading 7-0. Now, we will get our act together at halftime and come out & dominate Georgia.

They zoom in tight so you can't see that Ha Ha is being tackled at the bottom of the screen not 5 yards from where that block happened.  Also he did not lead with his helmet, he throws his right shoulder into him.  There is helmet to helmet contact, but it is incidental IMO.  There is absolutely nothing wrong with hammering the QB on that play, he is just like any other defender.  The only possible issue would be if they thought it was a helmet to helmet hit.  But as we have learned in previous weeks, that rule only applies to defenseless players like receivers trying to catch the ball or the QB trying to make a throw.  Being oblivious to what is going on around you like Murray was is not the same as being defenseless.  Good hit IMO.  CBS just wants to stir up controversy.

This would make for a great "Caption this pic" thread next week.

Didn't say Bama was terrible, just a number of mistakes and gave up a few big plays.  We're in great position to win this game despite all of that, and yes, that is what champions do!

I truly believe CNS wants his teams to make that player in front of them to say I QUIT. He has our team set on 60 minutes of destruction. You bet! I will never forget the 24-23 Sugar Bowl loss. I hope we put a 49-0 azz whooping on them.

Neither will I, 2. I was in high school and had a date that evening. Needless to say, I was not very good company that evening. I've often wondered  what ever happened to her. Lol!

I don't think we win this game unless Jesse comes back in. Gurley gashes us worse than normal until Jesse comes back and stuffs him up the middle for a huge stop. Kudos to Jesse, coming back in, hurt, and kicks butt. His play was sterling! Kuiyam has an awful lot to be proud of.  :worship: :clap:
