Title: Engstrom out for the season after knee injuries Post by: pmull on December 12, 2012, 01:19:19 PM Quote Alabama's Carl Engstrom will miss the remainder of the 2012-13 basketball season after having surgery to repair ACL and MCL injuries to his left knee. Dr. Lyle Cain of Andrews Sports Medicine at St. Vincent's Hospital in Birmingham performed the surgery Tuesday morning on the junior center's left anterior cruciate ligament and medial collateral ligament in his left knee. It will be hard to keep 8 players healthy and with fresh legs for the entire season. We play full court pressure and man defense which will not be effective with tried players. |
