He has a good track record as an assistant coach most notably at Oklahoma prior to taking the Houston HC position. He hired Kingsbury in his first year at Houston so he has never been a HC without Kingsbury on his staff. I think Sumlin will continue to do well at A&M without Kingsbury but you never know. Chiz sure seemed to miss Malzahn at the barn this year.
