It was a great run. It was 3rd and 10 from the 11 and he ran to the 1 where he was hit, but stretched out for the TD. Good looking kid.

He was Mr. Everything for us this year. He is only listed as a 2 star. He has offers from Troy, UAB, Wofford, Minnesota and Navy. He's not sure what he is going to do. He is hoping for a better offer from a school not to far from home according to his Dad. He is 6-0 200lb and fast.

He could do worse than Navy. I would think that would be a great opportunity for him.

He has a lot going for him. He is a good kid that is popular with the students and faculty. He has a 3.8 GPA taking honors classes.

Alabama holds off a furious Mississippi rally to win 21-16. Many good players on both teams. 29 penalties between the 2, however.

Mississippi tried to come back but ran out of time.

It seemed like all the Mississippi players were from South Panola HS.  :dunno:

I think it was only Chris Jones, but he was in on so many plays, it seemed like there were several.  :lol2:

He is also uncommitted. Is CNS recruiting him?

He is one of the best cover corners this year. He also has good size. CNS is after him like everyone else.

I hope we get him. If we don't, whoever does, will have a great talent.

Hey pmull, I would tell Josh that Navy is the place to be. He comes out an officer and with one of the greatest educations you could only dream of. My best to him and his future. RTR!

The Lions Club in Montgomery has always done a good job sponsoring football at Cramton Bowl, particularly the old Blue-Gray game. They actually sold out every year, but many decided to just contribute to the charity, and not attend the game. I think they were forced to cancel due to the increase in bowl games which limited the players available to play in the B-G game.

The old Cramton Bowl looked pretty good with the renovation they did. I guess just high schools are using the stadium now that Alabama State built their own on-campus facility.

I think you're right. The ASU stadium looks pretty impressive from I-85. The new structure in the South end zone at Cramton Bowl was referred to as the mult-plex by the announcers. Not sure what its function is.
