At 23 or 24, I was in a courtesy bus from the Houston Airport to a parking lot. A couple of airline pilots laughed when they saw me digging through my luggage for my car keys. The lesson they taught me was to ALWAYS fly with your keys in your pocket, because someday your luggage will be lost. I guess Mr. Rutledge learned the same about his glove and cleats. RTR to an up and coming great.

I learned a long time ago to keep keys, medicene, laptop and paperwork/drawings needed for meetings in my briefcase which is a carry on. I have had to buy new underwear before but I was never unprepared for a meeting.

AJ's girlfriend is all over the internet today. Stories about her being at the game last night are on every major news source like Fox, CBS, ESPN, etc. She had over 100,000 twitter hits during the game. She is good looking.

The funny thing is that AJ barely paid any attention to her after the game, giving her a quick kiss then celebrating with his family.

And she had a hard time getting that in.  He was being mobbed by the family.

Is it just me, or did Musberger sound just a little too interested (or maybe creepy is a more appropriate word) in her when they first showed her last night?

They won't be a couple by the start of next season.

So how did AJ concentrate on our ugly opponents these last few weeks?

Tell ya this, and I apologize to Joe Willie ahead of this....When I was at the Capstone, Joe hung around with some, shall we say, less than world class "beauties"..some I saw him with were, ah, a little bit "out there", if ya know what I mean. But give Joe the benefit..he was and prob still is, a little different from the rest of us in many ways, so it was natural he was drawn to the "slightly odd".  Never saw Sloan with a date, it is likely he had more than a few.  Kenny, well, Kenny was Kenny.

Campus beauties back then were drawn to the BMOC's, frat kings, etc. prob. the same today.

 I wonder who dated Sela Ward when she was a campus beauty and cheerleader?

Hmmm, I hate to see AJ ruin his last year at Bama but this girlfriend has way too much media coverage for his own good. How many times have we all heard CNS speak of distractions. ;)
