Title: my years as a fan Post by: bamalum67 on January 09, 2013, 06:23:09 AM Let me see, I was born 1945...CPBB came to BAMA in 1958..he won 6 NC's...CNS came to BAMA in 2008..he's won 3..so in my lifetime, I have been a witness to 9 BAMA NC's..out of 15..hey, I'm proud to have been a part (fan/alum/booster) all those years..AND MORE TO COME!

And ..how about the one we got robbed of in 1964? ND and M played to a 10-10 tie..and we ended up 3rd! Yeah, back in those days we said yeah, we are no 3, right behind the GB packers and the KC chiefs! (first Superbowl) so by our rights we should have 16! and I'll drink some koolaid for next year..for no. 17!!!! Got to also experience first hand the 1964 and 1965 Championships. What a great time to be a student at Bama.
