Both Scout and Rivals have articles about his Bama visit comments, but both require premium memberships.

Rivals is showing him as a soft verbal to Florida State.

We already have the top in state offensive tackle in Huntsville's Grant Lee. He is 6-6 315 lbs. We have 5 OL commits already.

most of the comments that I saw on the twitter post said they probably told him they were holding his offer for somebody else and he was probably ticked about it. who knows though. was just wondering if anybody had a subscription and could tell what his comments were.

He is 6-6 which is good but he needs to gain about 50 lbs at his height to play tackle in the SEC. He is listed at 284 lbs. I wonder if he was asked to grayshirt since he would be a redshirt anyway.

"I don't know if I would say I have officially eliminated them, but pretty much," Golson told Bone. "The visit was nice. I had a good time. I really did enjoy it a lot. I just didn't feel comfortable there. I just didn't feel like it was for me."

I found that in an article link down in WALL-E world from last night.

His way of saving face since, as pmull suggested, Bama may have wanted to put him a year out from competing?

Good luck to him down at FSU.
