I have always liked Mike Shula. He was a great player for us. He took the Alabama head coaching job when no one else wanted it. It did not turn out well for him but he is still an Alabama man and I want to see him succeed. He is a nice guy and handles himself in a first class manner.

He is well thought of as a QB coach in the NFL. His one OC job was with Tampa Bay and it did not go well. Many think he was the man responsible for the Alabama offense during his four years and not Dave Radar. He will need more than Darby up the middle and the "jumbo package" to make it in the NFL.
