Well I owe an apology to Reuben Foster cause I was one that went off the deep end. I see now how bad this young man needs stability. Whether you choose us or some other, Best of Luck in the future. May God Be with you young man. RTR!

Foster commits to Bama

Frequent observations about RF's messed up emotional state have been posted all over.  This article is similar in tone and, unfortunately, sad but true.  So he's committed to Bama.  How long will that last?  Believe it when you KNOW that he has signed his papers and they have been received by FaxCamGirl.  Then hope that his grades, rumored to be shaky, and his ACT score will qualify him.  This drama is not over.  It merely has moved on to the next chapter.  I'll believe he's truly on the road to being a great player when I see him in a crimson jersey on Saturdays.  For his sake, I hope I see that.

Good news, and good luck to him.

Yes thanks Catch Prothro, I have seen it already but CNS is giving him another chance, I hope he don't falter. RTR!

To me Foster seems to be in the same mold as Rolando McClain, tough hard-nosed player but kind of thick between the ears.  Hopefully Coach Saban and crew can keep him on the straight and narrow until his playing days at Bama are over...

I will believe it when he signs and returns the LOI.

Comparing him to Ro McClain is a good example. Ro came out of Decatur HS as a great prospect but with a shaky background of making bad decisions. CNS and staff got the most out of Ro and we all thought he was a changed person when he left Alabama for the NFL after three years. Once he left Alabama he resorted back to his old habits. Foster is a good looking inside LB. He was the best player on the field in the ALA-MISS All-Star game IMO. I hope we get him and he gets priorities in order and has a great college career.

Grades? I have heard he may have trouble getting his grades and ACT score in order to be eligible. Anyone know if that is true?

I've heard the same thing. If he makes it, he will need a heavy dose of the CNS process. If ever there was a situation where someone needed Bama more than Bama needed them, it's this kid. I've not heard of him ever getting in trouble, but he most definitely needs maturing. You can believe that will either happen with the help of CNS, or he may never see a meaningful down.

They'll probably give her a House Mother job in one of the new frat houses, nothing like getting to move into a NEW home. I can just see all of the frat guys chopping down on that fried chicken that she is so good at making. The REC will come up with something. ;)
