Bama could have used him but they can't get them all. We'll have to wait and see how it works out for him over there. I sure would like to know what turned him off at Bama, it was like he was a little ticked about something.

Dee Liner is scheduled to make his announcement at 11 a.m. CT live on ESPNU. Liner is a consensus four star recruit and is considered one of the elite DTs in this class. He also has the distinction of being the best named recruit in the country this year. Liner is technically choosing between the Tide, Miami, and Auburn, but it seems to be a foregone conclusion among most that Bama will be the team to land his signature.

●A'Shawn Robinson will sign his LOI at 12 p.m. CT. Robinson is a 5 star OT out of Fort Worth, Texas that was a long-time commitment for the Longhorns. Saban made a strong push down the stretch for the star OT, personally taking a trip to Texas last week. Reports surfaced Saturday that Robinson informed Texas at an in-home visit that the Tide would get his signature. It looks like Bama will steal one of the best players in Texas and one of the best OTs in the country right out from under Mack's nose.

Eddie Vanderdoes - One of the biggest prizes of the day will also have one of the longest waits. Eddie will announce his decision at 5 p.m. PST (7 p.m CT). Vanderdoes is an elite DT that has the size (6'3" 310 lbs) and skill to make an immediate impact wherever he ends up. Eddie is officially considering USC, Notre Dame, UCLA, Washington, and Bama, though USC is thought to have been eliminated from consideration. Eddie visited the Capstone over the weekend, and by his own account, the trip went swimmingly. Hard not to feel pretty good about this one given how glowingly he has spoken of Bama, but the great distance from his hometown is enough to make this a 50-50 proposition at best.

Antonio (Tony) Conner is scheduled to make his announcement at 9:45 a.m. CT live on ESPNU. Tony is an elite safety prospect out of Mississippi that is universally regarded as one of the best in the country. He has faced a ton of pressure to play in state, but Saban and company have pressed hard to land him.

He had trouble hearing, maybe because of the crowd in Muscle Shoals, but he spoke well. Realizes he needs to do his very best to compete in Tuscaloosa, and that God will take care of the rest.

We have 23 signed. One agreed several weeks ago to grayshirt so that is 24. No surprises up to this point. We got everyone we expected to get including Rueben Foster and Dee Liner.

Three more uncomitted are out there with Bama hats on the table.

DT Vanderodes 7:00pm announcement
DT Robinsonson 2:30 announcement (most likely Tide)
RB/Ath Kamara 2:35 announcement.

BAMA moves to #2 --ESPN with Alvin Kamara pickup.

BTW, CGC just spoke well of Kamara on ESPNU. Said everyone around Kamara probably told him how loaded Bama's stable is at RB, but this kid not afraid of competition.

Alvin Kamara and A'Shawn Robinson are signed up. These two uncommitted recruits make us a solid No. 1 class.

CNS has done it again. I don't know why we worry about recruiting. CNS seems to have a pretty good grasp on how to get the job done.

We now have 25 signed and a grayshirt to make 26.

Tidesports.com has one more recruit left on our big board. Vanerdoes announces at 7:00pm. The former Ohio State punter commit leaning our way announces at 4:00pm.

I hope CNS gives the staff a day or two off and I hope he and Mrs Terry go to the lake for a few days. Need they need to get their azz back to work. We have got a game to play in 205 days.

I should have used a quote box. But I think this guys advantage (one of many) is he can play either side of the ball. HSC probably knows this guy!

You are correct. This guy can play both ways. He is the ranted as high as the No. 1 DT and No. 2 OT. He looks like a stud.
